FIRST Varsity Home Game!!!

Dear VHA Family,

If you have not heard yet, we have our FIRST Varsity Home Football Game, this Friday night, August 28th, at Charles Wood Field. Kick-off is at 7:30 pm. However, what you don’t want to miss is our “Salute to America” prior to kick–off (at approximately 7:15), a simple, yet powerful observance by our fall student-athletes to remember the brave men and women who have fought, and continue to fight for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.  
We are praying for and expecting a large crowd as we are all ready to get back to some level of normalcy. That being said, I wanted to go over a few things if you do plan on coming to the game this Friday:

• To help prevent the spread of Covid-19, we are asking you, if at all possible, to bring the EXACT change to the gate. We will then have a drop box for all money. Varsity game admission is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students (2020 Booster passes will be accepted at the gate).
• The bleachers will be spread out on the home side. In order to socially distance we highly encourage EVERYONE to bring fold out chairs and spread out around the whole field–even on the visitors side.
• We will have the concession stand open and selling food. If the line does get long, please do your best to keep a 6-foot distance between one another. 
• Finally, we are asking everyone to wear RED! We are going to do our best to RED OUT Hearts Academy!

Again, we are excited for this Friday and hope everyone will be safe and wise, so we can keep our Fall Athletic Season going!
