Heritage Archery Qualifies 2 for Nationals

The Vidalia Heritage Academy Elementary and Middle School teams competed in the Georgia NASP Archery tournament on March 5, in Perry, and two Heritage archers shot scores that qualified them for the National Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky. Julia Beacham, daughter of Marty and Shae Beacham, scored 279 (out of 300) points to place 2nd in the State in the Elementary Girls’ division. Helen Kate Baird, daughter of Doug and Miranda Baird, also shot a 279, which earned her 2nd place among 8th graders and 3rd among all female middle school archers. The National NASP Tournament will be held May 12-14, in Louisville, Kentucky. Helen and Julia will be competing for the VHA Middle School team in the GICAA State Archery Tournament this Saturday, March 12, at the GSU Shooting Sports Education Center. Soli Deo Gloria.
