Vidalia Heritage Academy High School students, who take the World Civilization class through the Dual-Enrollment program with Brewton-Parker College, took critical approaches to the theories of Evolution/Creation and presented their research to their classmates. The major areas of the Evolution and Creation theories that the VHA students examined were: Astronomy, Geology, Paleontology, Genetics, Bio-Chemistry, and Mathematics. The major focus of each group was to explain the perspectives of Evolutionists and Creationists and to analyze issues of the evidence in each major area for each theory. It is the mission of Heritage Academy to equip students spiritually, intellectually, and physically to love God and to serve Him as Christ’s ambassadors in the world. These students are learning to take a critical approach to any theory and to use reasonable faith to form their own positions in the discussion of ideas that they will engage in college and throughout their lives
